Erika is a Veterinarian Technician who owns and operates K9 to 5 Paws and Play Dog Daycare (www.k9to5pawsandplay.net), Erika participates in many local events to give back to the community.like the Purina Walk for Guide Dogs and Community Living Face to Face program. After serving for several years with other Greyhound adoption groups, Erika is now President/Treasurer of Greyhound Pets of America – Canada (GPA-C). She currently has four Greyhounds Sky, Lexi, Tipperary, & Calhoun

A Computer Technician & Web Developer for over 25 years, Dominie is always happy to help out whenever possible, especially when Greyhounds are involved. She also makes custom coats and collars, leashes etc through her company Longsnoutz. Being involved with Meet & Greets and events where she can help spread the word about these wonderful Greyhounds as pets has been a passion of hers, so being involved with GPA-C is something very close to her heart. Dominie lives in Windsor, Ont with her partner Clinton and their Greyhounds, Onyx, Elvira, Hank & Abby.

Always the first to volunteer to foster, this family is there whenever necessary!

They have fostered multiple dogs at once and train our new Greyhounds how to be “cat safe”. They also help out at our various events including our charity dog washes.

Seen here with Hank and Abby, Clinton is the photographer for our events and adoptable dogs as well as Foster Family Co-ordinator & Treasurer. He also helps out at our meet and greets and events in any way he can. Originally from Dagenham, UK he moved to the Canada (Toronto & Peterborough ON. areas) around 35 years ago and now resides in Windsor Ont.with his partner Dominie.
Scott Myers

Scott has been a part of GPA-C since the very beginning and has been very active in helping set up events and aiding in any way to help facilitate the adoption of Greyhounds as pets. As a very fair and impartial person, Scott is excellent in his role as Compliance Officer. Outside of the volunteering he does for GPA-C and his career, he spends much of his time helping out his family in many ways and being on hand to help with their church’s bazaars, fundraising and other events.

Foster Families

Without the wonderful volunteers who Foster GPA-C Greyhounds we could not find Greyhounds their Forever Homes. These people open their hearts and homes and provide a safe and loving environment for the Greyhounds to learn about home life.

Sheran & Andreja have been with GPA-C since the beginning and have done a fantastic job! They have taken in multiple foster greyhound at the same time. This Great Foster Family even teach the Greyhounds to be Cat safe! This really helps find greyhounds Forever Families as most people desire cat safe hounds.

Jake has been with GPA-C since the beginning and has done a fantastic job! He is involved with minor Hockey in the Autumn and Winter months but is alwasy ready to Foster again once the warmer weather comes along.

We LOVE and greatly appreciate our volunteers. They do so much from helping out at events to donations of all sorts!

We can’t Thank them enough!

April, Dave, Tyler and Niklas have been Volunteering with us for a quite a while now. They help out at our Yard sales, Dog Walks other events and Tyler comes to help us bathe dogs at our Fundraising Dog washes. Niklas has even had a Birthday Party where he asked for donations for the Greyhounds instead of Birthday gifts!

Dog food donations from these stores really do make a HUGE difference as well as supporting us through allowing Charity Dog washes, meet & greets and other events to take place on their premises. Being a Paw Program recipient has also made a huge impact in our ability to find more of these special Greyhounds their Forever Families!
